How is Christianity commercialised through objects in Łódź?
I am continuously fascinated by the human stories that inanimate objects tell. Even more so as an atheist, I am puzzled by the interplay between spiritual and material consumption. Christian imagery pervades our everyday life in many forms. In practice, Catholicism often exists within and is impacted by a capitalist consumer culture that thrives on excessive consumption. I want to question the friction between these two practices.
