Aether
Mario Lareano
If in the hypothetical scenario of posthumanism, humanity were able to come back, would the air still be breathable?
Aether refers to the air that has forgotten the taste of a lung. It is a spectrum detached from the mundane traces of its creators. It is a masterwork without an audience. Without the friction of human movement, the air becomes a static, crystalline grid—an immaculate atmosphere that preserves the silence of the steel.
In this project, I seek to represent the uncapability of breathing the air through the representation of the uncapability to move through these industrial, sterile spaces.
