Why do some settings hold my attention, even when their meaning is unclear?
Without a fixed direction, this work is a documentary and personal exploration through Łódź, a Polish city still marked by a sharp decline in population, where life persists in the most unexpected places. As an outsider moving through an unfamiliar city, I am drawn to spaces where things have been let go of, where emptiness and traces of lives that have moved on press against the present. It is a place that resists a clear definition, and through it, my attention is held by something I cannot fully explain.
