What happens when personal belongings circulate anonymously?
In a shop in Łódź, supplied with bags of second-hand objects, I wander through items as if they were online marketplace listings, caught between archiving and selling. I’m fascinated, confused, almost euphoric with objects that feel intensely personal yet are just lost, used care products, underwear, tiny figurines with drawn smiles. I don’t try to explain them; I imagine who owned, discarded, or now desires them. Guided by curiosity, I hold onto what I don’t understand. The project becomes an archive of mysteries, inviting viewers to get lost in these strange, circulating lives.
