Why am I scared of something that will happen?
My fear of my own mortality comes from my fear of missing out on the lives of my loved ones. Whilst I was stuck in the hotel with tonsillitis, I wasn't able to avoid the fear of mortality anymore. It was at the cemetery that I became at peace with the thought of passing on. ‘Tonsillitis’ centres this feeling of morality within the scope of abandonment, with abstract visuals that have a resemblance to death.
